Northern Lights

The Northern Lights have been studied intensively for years and they still hold mystery. Many people, for example, claim to have heard the aurora when it is above them but scientists insist that this is impossible, claiming the lights occur in the atmosphere where there is so little air that sound cannot be made. When the question is put to an Inuit, their returning gaze makes you feel silly for even asking. The best place to experience the aurora borealis is at Watson Lake, just north of the British Columbia/Yukon border. T. Subba Row, B.A., B.L.(1856-1890), a well known Theosophical and Esoteric scholar stated in 1882: "It is a well-known fact, that an electric or magnetic current can convey in some mysterious manner impressions of sound or speech with all their individual peculiarities. . ."
