Icebergs

One cannot dispute where most icebergs are calved but one wonders if all scientific evidence is provided. Strange objects have been found in some icebergs such as pollen and dust, rocks and animals. Where do they come from? The Arctic is a semi-arid area which receives very little moisture—so how are icebergs formed? One theory suggested by William Reed, author of The Phantom of the Poles, is that the earth is hollow and that icebergs are formed from fresh water rivers flowing to the earth's surface and freezing at the mouth. "As the warm weather of summer advances, and, owing to the warmth from the earth, the bergs are thawed loose, the water from the rains in the interior rushes down, they are shoved into the ocean . . ."
