Edmonton TS Republishing Program

Edmonton Theosophical Society has been a major contributor to the current availability of theosophical historical materials. Prior to ETS' concentrated efforts to reprint rare extant titles, availability was limited to the hands of a few. Edmonton TS acknowledges the cooperation of various individuals and libraries without whose cooperation many titles could not have been reprinted. Prior to development of the Internet, increased availability of many such items depended on the efforts of ETS volunteers to reprint them. Many of these very titles have now found their way onto the Internet thereby further increasing their availability.

The primary objectives of the republishing program:
• To make available educational, historical/archival theosophical materials
• The production of historical/archival theosophical materials in their original, unedited version so that individuals can objectively view incidents/writings as they appeared, with no editing or comments.
• The promulgation of the writings of H.P. Blavatsky and William Q. Judge and materials relating to them.
• To bring forth an awareness of the writings and contributions of W.Q. Judge.

Since the beginning of the Edmonton TS republishing program, approximately 150 titles have been reprinted. These have varied from pamphlets and booklets to books and even entire runs of periodicals.

• Theosophical Forum (first series) in 2 volumes

• Theosophical Notes (Victor Endersby), Vol. 1 - 10
• Theosophical Siftings, Vol. 1 - 7
• The Theosophist, Vol. I - VI

Unfortunately, the majority of these are no longer available although it is hoped we may be enabled to reprint them in future, as funding allows.

Edmonton Theosophical Society has also published original works, including indexes to: Lucifer; The Theosophist, Vol. I - VI; The Canadian Theosophist, Vol. 1 - 78; The Lamp; and others currently in the works.
